Visited a lovely market yesterday. Few of the usual veg and clothes stalls some nice cheese, bakery and street food stalls and most ofvtge others were art and craft second hand silver and objet d'art. If you were setting up your own stall, what would you be selling? |

"Cute knick knacks, stuff you don't actually need, just want because they are cute/pretty "
And why not? We often like those little things that are not necessarily practical but as you say just pretty and fluffy and lift your spirit. |

I've recently gotten into upcycling pieces of furniture people no longer want. I think it's better to reuse than dispose. So maybe some of those pieces. Although not sure I'd turn a profit |

"I miss our market in Madison WI. It went well around the capitol building.
Jewellery I love Jewellery."
I love jewellery, but I have noticed that more people buy cute stuff than jewellery. People look at jewellery and handle it, but don't buy it. |

All things catty...
Personalised gifts... I had one of those names you could never find on the badges, pencils, signs as a child (and then I gave my son an unusual name too) I liked the markets in Spain as they always had a little old Chinese guy doing things such as names on a stone for a pendant, engraving a silver bangle or painting the fancy letters. |

"Books, altho I probably wouldn't sell many be to busy reading them!
I’d spend my earnings at your stall (if I could convince you to give up a few books). "
Well I'm sure I could be persuaded! |
