Right these are some of my favourites I've encountered:

Mrs Gotobed

Mr Green grass

Mr Drinkwater

Mrs Slugg

Mrs Death (no apostrophe to indicate the 'dee-Ath' pronunciation)

Mr Richard Head (I swear to god)

Lord Gay

Mrs A Pipe

Mr Cronk

But the absolute pinnacle was at work a colleague asked me to call a Mrs Knobsucker. I assumed ot was a wind up and laughed my head off and then got told off for being childish and unprofessional (I mean, COME ON!)

I still think there was a chance it was a wind up but I sort of hope it was true.

I did make the call but knew there was no chance of me addressing her by name without hysterical laughter and so stuck rigidly to "Madam".

Also, at school I knew a boy called: Alan Allen

And while it's not the funniest, I just could never wrap my head around why the parents (presumably knowing their surname was Allen) would choose to call their son Alan?!

I mean how unimaginative do you have to be?

"Shall we call him...uhhh...Alan?"

"Yeah that'll do."
