Its probably the "safe settings" on your phone that won't allow you to text an "adults only" number. Depending on your phone who might be able to change them yourself or maybe your provider will have to do it.

Do you have credit on your phone to pay the £5 plus your standard network charge?
Ive just renewed mine by text and took a good while to come through with the verification code. (Which is unusual as it is usually within 30 seconds)
It does say other ways to pay. Perhaps a phone call may be of more use. But if you've already text I'd wait a while. If no sucess then maybe message the site for help. Or tty their alternative methods. |

Your phone network provider might block adult content. It is possible to toggle it on or off, but not all providers offer self service to do it so you may have to contact them. |
