Face pictures preference
Jump to: Newest in thread
A interesting question based on a recent conversation with a friend.
What is your preference when receiving face pictures from women?
Natural unfiltered with all the flaws, or glam makeup, hair done, going out out ones? Or both?
Women, which one do you prefer to send and why?

Whatever they feel comfortable with sending. If I don't like it we're not compatible.
For example some people send a pic of themselves as a dot on a landscape, or with hat and sunglasses, or blurry. I don't bother to ask for another pic. |

I send one that's natural, no filters, no make up, but try choose a nice one of me (I hate face pics been taken).
I aren't one for wearing make up, been done up or anything, so what you see is what you get.
If I was someone who was always made up then that's how I would be in face pics I send too x |

Whatever they’re comfortable to send, I understand about wanting to look as good as possible so I don’t mind at all.
Nobody takes a selfie when they first wake up, with bed-hair, bloodshot eyes and marks where they’ve face down in a pillow drenched with their own dribble. I’ll leave that for the first night together |

maybe most of the blokes would be happy just to get a reply, let alone a face pic. now I always send a face pic when i am chatting, but sometimes it has my dog in it - cos he is more attractive (and cuter) than I am (going for the sympathy vote) |

I send both bare-faced and make-up. I don't wear a lot of make-up anyway, and it depends how I feel on the day if I want to look natural or a bit more dramatic. Like them to see both sides of me.

By the time we’re striking up a decent friendship I’ll usually have seen both, and all points in between. And that’s perfect.
But for a first face pic, an introduction? It could be either. Diff’rent strokes for diff’rent folks. So long as it’s your actual face and not a dodgy phone filter, it’s all good. |

There was a stage when you'd never seem to see a face pic that didn't have one of those daft snapchat filters that make you look like you've got a greasy smudge on your lens. I was never a fan of that, it just covers your face. I like to see what people look like, not what they'd look like if it was really foggy and I forgot to put my glasses on.
I don't have any objections to hair and makeup and whatnot though, I'm happy to see "warts & all" pictures but if a lady feels better taking pics with her face on I get it. If I'm taking a selfie I try to find an angle that doesn't make me look like a hairy marshmallow or a serial killer, which is much the same thing. |

"My face pictures are almost all in purple light with red lipstick, but no other makeup. I have the odd completely bare and in daylight selfie for people I like "
To be fair, you have fantastic lips. Seems a shame not to flaunt them. |

Happy to disclose a no make up pic if asked as I’m happy in my own skin. We never use filtered pics as we have nothing to hide (and it’s pretty silly). Also our pics are all recent - what you see is what you get. |

It tends to be no makeup because day to day I don't wear any. If I'm out and send a photo I'll be wearing mascara and eyeshadow. And lipbalm. I don't really wear much in the way of makeup.
I don't think too much about it really - I'm comfortable sending whatever way. I like my face without makeup on. |

"I don't care as long as they aren't using filters.
You said you liked the ‘vomiting happy eggplants’ one. "
I loved that one but I wasn't sure on the one with the blood. |

I would send a photo of myself how I’d probably turn up to a meet. So not looking like a bag of shite but I also don’t wear ton’s of makeup. I wouldn’t send a filtered photo that doesn’t represent reality. |

I tend to send a few, one done up,one zero make up, one kind of in-between which is how I normally look.
I have yet to send one where I have just woken up still wearing last nights make up though.

As long as she doesn't look like a wailing banshee, Harpy* or Medusa* then I'll accept any photograph.
*If she happens to be a Greek mythological creature and doesn't turn my visage to stone then it's all good. |

I don't wear much make up so that's what I send. To send filtered pictures is quite fraudulent misleading to others and unfair.
Nothing greater than being comfortable in your own skin the right people will like and accept me same as I would them |
