Sitting around the pool watching the kids have fun reflecting on the month that has been August, it’s been the busiest but best month of my year so far
I’ve had some lovely quality time with the kids and wider family, three breaks away with them and all different. A caravan park, city break and a holiday in the sun
Made time for friends with catch up lunches and teas and belly laughed non stop
Work wise has brought some unexpected twists and opportunities, all positive though and things I’d never imagined a year ago and can’t wait to see what happens next
Fab life has been fantastic, spent a weekend with some of my favourite people in Manchester then a few days in the Peak District with sunsets and sunrises and bloody good cake. Then online rekindling old friendships from a while ago
There’s been some shit along the way but I’m staying focused on the positives
I hope everyone can find something positive that they enjoyed in August
Roll on September |

Sounds like you've had an excellent time. I hope that continues for you!
August was going well for me but the unexpected plot twist is likely to have a ripple effect for a while.
Roll on September for me. Many things to look forward. Quality time with my boys and a much needed break from work in the sun.
Time with friends and hopefully some other plans coming to fruition.

Im glad you have had wonderful hols xxx
These 6 weeks have absolutely flown past, I'm grateful that we didn't have last years temperatures, so I was a lot more active than our normal hibernation
I'm almost fully booked up for weekend adventures now till xmas, so I'm just basking in all my friends cuddles across the uk

Aww what a lovely August it's sounds like you've had and very well deserved
August has had some amazing highs and some pretty shitty lows. I'm not really sure how September is going to go at the moment as I get the sense that changes are coming but it what capacity I'm not sure
Hugs to anyone who isn't having a great time |

I am looking forward to feeling reassuringly chilly - not super cold - but fresh enough to start wearing my knitwear and Autumnal boots. I always feel content at this time of year. Content with myself, my friends and my family. |

"Aww it sounds like you've had a fantastic time Cookie! Hopefully you weren't waken too early to catch the sunrises/sunsets and good photos were taken.
Enjoy the rest of your holidays!"

August has been a blast, long work wise with a lot of hours but a great balance of work n social.
Sept brings some new beginnings and challenges, start a new job as a mental health crisis intervention worker, fo in to start a Masters, looking forward to starting that next educational step, towards my end goal, I've aimed big buy started small....bring Sept on, more personal growth time with family friends, and making new friends |

I’ve only been in the UK for two weeks but had an amazing second half of August catching up with friends and family , mini trips to the north-east, Peaks ,Stratford , London & Manchester.Probably a bit too much FAB’ing activity but I’m making up for the nine months I’m not here & women you gotta date 10 times just to get a kiss
Also start a new job in 2 weeks and the gorgeous winter in the Middle East to look forward to |
