Not a Star Wars fan lol? (I like the first)
The only ones I can answer are Aliens (though it's very close), Terminator (it's close again) and though I enjoyed the other Indiana Jones films up to 3 (boy I struggled with 4 so not touching 5!), the first one was a classic. The first ones are the ground-breakers in general in I think.
What is notable about he first two series I mentioned I think, are how their first sequels actually managed to at least equal the original film. pt |

All of them are amazing (the Damon ones I mean, haven't seen Legacy).
If I had to choose one though, it'd be "The Bourne Ultimatum" for the iconic line: "Jesus Christ... that's Jason Bourne" |

Alien films are all pretty solid stand alone films (apart from Alien v Predator)
Terminator is a more raw, darker and focussed film- where as T2 has more action and the obvious massively increased stunt/FX budget- but Cameron has excellent producer/director standards, so choose your poison on that one.
Die Hard 1-3 are all equally entertaining, 4 is meh!, 5 is less than meh!
On the whole, i don't tend to watch sequels as they're only made to cash in on the popularity of the original, so usually suffer from lack of script and dialogue investment and frequently more ridiculous effects instead, along with obvious merchandising points shoehorned in for no valid reason (and usually why i stick to underground indies and world cinema instead) |
