Holding doors open for people. Saying hello to people when you walk past them in the countryside. Joining in choruses of happy birthday when someone you don't know in a restaurant is celebrating. Stopping at Zebra crossings.
And, although it's a less British one, taking every opportunity to smile at babies. |

Innit awkward when you’re walking with earphones in and you don’t know whether the person coming towards you had said hello or not so you don’t know whether to say hello or not |

Mrs TMN x
^He took her all the way.
I got a day tripper ticket so I could hop and and off all day long. "
^It took her so long to find out.
But she found out. |

"Letting people off the tube/bus/train/lift or whatever, before getting on. "
Amen!
I'm also going to add standing on the right hand side of an escalator (tube particularly!)...let's keep society civilised, people. |

Lol in London it's a free for all on buses!
I remember a few years back visiting my family and went to get a bus from our small town to Belfast. Three people were queuing for and empty bus. Being a Londoner for so long I went to get on and got told off by an old lady for not queuing ?? |

"Holding doors open for people can be awkward when they are a few steps away and you make them run. "
I read an article that described this as passive/aggressive behaviour. I always just say, 'no need to rush' |
