Over the last two weeks i have been swinging on my own, and after 8 months of swinging as one half of a couple.
This has proved to be very hard emotionally for me. Maybe i didn't give it enough time and thought that i would be ok.
I am off to see what used to be the other half, to have a good chat about everything and where i stand at this moment in time.
In the mean time i have decided not to play for awhile.
I am not asking for sympathy, just wanted to say how hard it can be if you lose your right hand (so to speak) Time is a good healer they say, but in swinging time is never ending....

Am in exactly the same position, just a few months down the line. And its still difficult at times. Just go at your own pace, and only do things how and when you feel ready. Xx |

Being a single fem on here is like arrgh at times, I was on here as a couple and It's a whole new ball game when you become one lady alone. There are some lovely people on here tho

I guess you have to make your choice about which path in life is good for you. None will come totally pain free but hopefully for you you have chosen the best one to make the best outcome future wise. |

Doing this on your own can be a bit intimidating when you've been used to doing it with someone
I was really shocked when i first split from my ex the difference in the way men/couples treat you being alone as apposed to having a guy sat by your side
It almost put me off i had to really toughen up
I love it now, i couldnt imagine doing this as a couple ever again  |

I am going through similar issues. After always swinging as a part of a couple I've found it different and difficult at times since being single.
I know I rushed myself and taking time away helps.
