We all have insecurities about our bodies, even those you may say I wish I had her boobs and body, then you hear that a couple weeks later they've had a little suction here and there.
Well for me, I've invested good money in my one pack over the years, and I see myself as my own ADONIS!! |

"I kinda get the sentiment....maybe.
But yeah, any guy that refers to me that way would not be meeting me. "
Yeah, its a unique way to lean into things that's for certain, maybe stick with the classics like their eyes, smile or chebs.
Do I look for it? Not particularly.
Does it bother me? Not at all.
I'm usually busy looking at their eyes, smiles and or chebs. |

I kinda get irritated when men make these statements. It's like highlighting the things I'm already insecure about and trying to make me be okay with them in a patronising way. This isn't aimed at you OP and I know most men come from a good place but I'd rather they didn't mention what I see as flaws at all. |

Indeed. Most comes from a good place.
But christ how many of these often seem to be very untactful backhanded compliments. And as said just do the reverse of what's intended.
Come on people. Think a little. |

I do get where she’s coming from but I’m the opposite really. I like the threads like this as it shows who’s interested in the not so slim lady. When I was meeting I always read them and made notes. I see them as positive. I agree in the past some of the wording could have been a lot better! |

Oh it's the wording that's the big part. It's a fine line to walk to be fair between not overdoing it with praise so its not genuine or pointing out insecurities. |

Wasn’t as bad as some I’ve had to endure. Was a few innuendos the kids wouldn’t get and some casual sexism obviously but was quite funny. |

"A little rant surely it's a person as a whole that is attractive not the body parts that belong to that person."
But that’s part of a person as a whole though no? Someone could have the perfect bod and have a lovely personality but if I’m not attracted to their face it’s not happening. This person is attracted to a certain kind of body. |

I’m definitely more attracted to someone’s personality than anything else. If there isn’t a connection there than I won’t play. However, a mummy’s tummy is just an added bonus. |

I've heard of 'mummy tummy' obviously, but never 'mum bod.' Does it come from the silly term 'dad bod' I wonder?
I've always thought the Fab term 'dad bod' was nonsense because dads simply don't go through what mums do to get changes to the belly. And of course irrespective of children, men can be large or thin at any point in their lives (and have kids over a 50-odd year stretch too for that matter) - if they have a belly it's because because! It's a bit daft to blame having kids, and even sillier to try and strike 'parity' with women - who of course never stop working when they become mums - so how does that work out in terms of 'dad bods' too? It's been shown over and over that most men do a fraction of the family work lol! So what's the real excuse? Do the sad jokes somehow bring it on? Or giving up on impressing women any more perhaps? A 'dad bod' aught to be a fitter bod really!

I find it attractive. I do like a mum bod/tum. Don't mind the scars, stretch marks, wobbly bits, extra skin etc. To me it doesn't bother me at all. The way I see it to me is that she's been through the battle/war and came out stronger |
