What happened between you and they is your business, there's no saying they'll behave the same with another.
I understand your frustration though, but naming and shaming isn't allowed.

Ahh no shows suck..
For what it’s worth and to give a little balance.
I walked for an hour and a half yesterday (seemed like an adventure at the time) covered a fair few miles along the way too.
Dedication for the cause.

"Worst thing in the world. Took the day and all.
She had the cheek to message me this morning. "
They're the ones that really wind me up, when they act all innocent.
Did have a great experience when a couple didn't show up and then ghosted us. Then about 6 months later their status was whinging about them experiencing the exact same thing! |

I can't comment on how frustrating it must be when someone doesn't show because I've never had a no show or been one in all my time here.
In seven years you might think that the law of averages would mean by this stage it should have happened but the fact is that it hasn't and it has actually been more than 5 years since I had a cancellation in advance of meeting. Again, I've never been the one to cancel.
I have to assume that not meeting at the drop of a hat and chatting for quite a while before even discussing the possibility has something to do with it but if I found that I was having repeated no shows I would start looking at how I was vetting the people I was chatting to. |

Just commenting on this as it's happened a lot more to me in the last month than ever before. Maybe for us CD/TVs there is the additional guilt factor that comes into play when a nervous guy is worried if he is bi, gay or whatever..
I assign mental odds to a guy for a meet for the chances of him showing up, here are some examples:
1. New profile, no phone number 100/1
2. New profile, got phone number and it works: 5/1
3. Someone not online on Fab on the day of the meet: 20/1
4. Someone I met before who loved it last time: 3/2 on
5. Met quite a few times before: virtual certainty
And so on btw (1) and (2) I would not meet without a serious backup plan. I still chance it though as its nice to meet new people
