Wondering around waitrose yesterday , I see that they now do coffee in bags...like tea bags?? Anyone tried them?

They have been around for years, I used to buy them and they're OK if you leave them to stew for long enough

I tried them once before ages ago a mate got them from america, they were not bad.

Been around since the early 80s at least.

OK if your into ground coffee and dont mind waiting for it to "stew"

I love the lyons ones (£2.59 for 18) much easier to make a mug of fresh coffee for one any time you want and soooo much less to wash up than one of them cafitierress or what ever they are called

ASDA sell ones called coffee bags but they are cup top filters what a faf

I got some of the Lyons ones after another jar of coffee turned to tar in the bottom of the jar!

I don't drink coffee and only sometimes have guests who do so these are perfect. They do need to steep for longer than a tea bag but it's a good cup of proper (filter) coffee.

Each bag is sealed in its own foil packet so they stay fresh.

It would be expensive if you are a coffee fiend, but for an occasional cup or even if you just like one cup a day and can't be arsed to wash a cafetiere they are spot on.
