Sitting in the garden by the late summer agapanthus and dahlias, alternating reading a book and browsing Fab and the news. And pretending for as long as possible that those dark rainclouds and freshening breeze aren't going to drive me inside. |

Goose fat roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish, please, to satisfy my culinary voyeurism. Horseradish and claret welcome too.
A roast chicken here later, with some lemony green beans; also part of pretending it's still summer. |

I roast my chicken with lemon and thyme, and my roast potatoes are slightly crushed with garlic. Reminds me of happy times living in Greece |
