I've been slowly working through a list of films to see before you die but I struggle with silent films. So I've decided to tick one off the list while I chill in bed - The Great White Silence, a documentary using footage shot on the famous Scott expedition to the South Pole. The film-maker obviously didn't join Scott in making his way to the poll once they reached land but recorded short clips of the journey on the boat.

Sorry to hear that. I've barely managed to get out of bed yet either. And the miserable sound of rain bouncing off the pavement outside isn't helping my mood. I hope your day picks up and you feel better soon. |
