Not on a cruise ship although my wife did try, the barman telling her he would be sacked instantly if caught. She has had more success in seducing barmen in pubs on dry land!

When I was 20 working at Butlins as a main catering waiter I had a few women tell me their chalet number. A few even had their husbands with them.

Some women made jokingly references to their chalets but never sure if they were serious or not.

Either way it wasn’t just the chalet monsters who arrived to a few holidaymakers chalets that summer
