Have a look on Money Saving Expert for info. It usually says what major provider they piggyback off. E.g Levara use the Vodafone network.

I don't use ID mobile, but i do use Three mobile. ID mobile use Three mobile's network exclusively. Depending on price along with T&C's you would be using the best network in the UK.

As a service provider three isn't at the top as providing a sufficient service it's pretty poor whereas o2 and many others can that's why 3 is cheaper

I just started with them a couple months ago and have pretty decent coverage unless I'm in specific granite buildings

It is decent for only £8 a month, most of the time I'm connected to WiFi anyways so doesn't make a massive difference. Might be different where you are and how dependent you are though
