Hi forum. It's recently been said to me a few times that having so many veris makes me intimidating, stern, and unapproachable.
I am in fact a softy and not the stone queen people seem to think.
So I ask you, especially men of fab: does seeing lots of veris over several years put you off? How many is too many? Should I hide a bunch more or hide the veri summary?

To me it doesn’t matter how meny veris one has
At the end off the day they single / in a open relationship if a couple they free to do as they please
So wouldn’t put me off at all |

That sounds backwards to me - you're meeting people, so that makes you unapproachable? That's completely on them.
From your profile text and pics, I don't get an intimating vibe. Unless they've spoken to you, I can't get the stern and/or stone queen conclusions either - maybe a subliminal message about their kinks? 
No, it doesn't put me off - in fact it's a positive, shows you're actually meeting! I'd prefer if at least one of them was populated when looking at a profile (I like both) - either verifications from multiple people or the verification summary.
Note: I don't mind if someone has no verifications as a new profile of course (I was there too lol) |

When I joined fab I considered too many veri's a red flag
These days I think they either come from a lot of socials/clubs, which good or they come from enjoying a lot of sex, which is also good.
I wouldn't have a problem with your veri's. And your bio reads quite friendly. |

They are not intimidating at all. They are generally great to talk to, so long as you can pass by that threshold of expectation. That comes from both parties. |

If I divided the number of veris I have by the number of years I'd been on site it would probably indicate that I'd had far less sex via Fab than I used to when at Uni.
People see a number and make all manner of assumptions, without taking into account content or context.

Hide veris only show when asked and put something in write up to say your veris were mostly gained from social events  |

Surely if someone is intimidated or put off by your veris then it's not worth meeting them anyway as they clearly don't get it, and are incapable of making their own mind up about someone. I really wouldn't worry about offending someone who is so judgey. |

I was chatting to a guy the other week about this, he has quite a few as very active in the scene and he said some women have been put off by the amount.
Doesn't bother me/us. We have a fair few but if you actually read them only about 3 are from actual meets lol.

I guess it's a fine line. Doesn't bother me, shows you are real. Gives me an idea of what someone is into, who they have met. As I know not everyone likes to meet people like me.

You simply cannot win on this site.
Display veris and the men will check the out to see what your type is and if they match up. If they don't they won't bother messaging. Doesn't matter if it's one veri or more.
You'll get more messages not displaying a veri as men don't like competing with other men, if they see a man has you they'll class you as taken or getting it and that you're not going to be interested or easy to get the attention of. They'll search out someone who hasn't got someone thinking that will be easier. A summary will have same effect but....the longer it's been since your last veri if you're not actually displaying any the more chance they think they have as in their mind it's been a while and you probably want some sex.
And that is basically it.

I prefer to see no veris, 3 or 4 max.
It's ridiculous when people with a large amount of veris on their profile make a point of saying loads were from socials, as though they need to apologise for having veris on a fuck site.
Either own them or hide them.  |

Men with a high body count are celebrated and women are vilified. It’s ridiculous but I think the men saying they are intimidated are being polite and not saying how they really feel. It’s best to avoid those types. |

I hate veri's. One to say you are actually who you say you are and thats it. You wouldn't bump into a potential 'partner' away from fab and list all of the people you've met and what you've done with them. Why do it here. The full on descriptive ones are the worst. |

I do not see how having many verifications would make you unapproachable.
I do nut see it as intimidating.
Most times, the verifications do tell a story about you. I sometimes worry about what those undisplayed verifications say |

You show summery of veris. This means nothing. Just shows yes you have met people in person who have then confirmed your real.
As for playing then it is anyones guess. ? .
To me a veris just confirms a real profile. Goes to clubs, socials etc. Unless veris are showing actual play meets. |

I’ve done all available options; hidden veri’s, shown all, hidden the summary, shown a few…
How many verifications someone has is really of no consequence to me, if they have lots, I tend to think that they’re popular and fun people, not view it negatively.
If someone chooses to take it as making someone unapproachable then, without sounding callous, that’s their choice.
If you start pandering and changing your profile to attract a certain type of person or audience, the likelihood is that you’ll preclude another type of person.
The best thing that you can do is be authentically you, then your type of person will find you. Run your profile as you want, without overthinking it. After all, your verifications show everyone what a kind, wonderful and caring person you are |

I don't think it matters to be honest OP - If You display them all then People can see they're meeting someone genuine and the ones who'll matter will stay and if You hide them they'll wonder why!

They wouldn't put me off at all, even if they were all sexual meets, I don't see what the stigma is. The site we're on, you should try to have as much fun as possible and to help with what everyone else thinks.
I have a lot but they're mostly social although I do wonder whether people just look at the number rather than the contents |

I think you should do what makes you happy. Be true to yourself.
I don't display and won't write graphic veris but then... I don't think someone is intimidating because they choose to display those. Nor do I think they're popular. It's their choice really.
I don't think there's such a thing as too many veris. Not as an overall benchmark.
I know what I'm comfortable displaying and I'm happy doing things my way. It's never stopped me from meeting those I want to. |

People are intimidated by many things. When it comes to something like too many veris or too much experience, I tend to think of it as more of an issue with their insecurity than an issue with my confidence.

I picked up a large amount of veris in a fairly short amount of time, when I first joined... I found it was only a problem for the local ladies... It did intimidate the guys but they messaged anyway |

I hide the summary, because most if my veris are just from socials. I think people would get the wrong idea (that I'm more fun than I actually am)
Maybe just do that and show the last 10 most recent.
See if that makes any difference! |
