Once upon a time, in ye olde England, there was a box where all fairy tale fearing folk would visit to confess their sins in the hope of absolution. That is how they used to collect the dirt and extend their influence.
Today, we have all invited mass data collection devices into every aspect of our lives and we consider anyone who rejects these snooping devices as someone who has something to hide!
I grew up with sci-fi distopian media that predicted this shit and I could not understand how this would ever come to pass. I was young. |
