Either talk to a Financial Advisor, or cheaper option, get a quality weekend paper (Telegraph/Times etc) that has a "Money" section. Alternatively, try 'Which'.

Definitely. The first place I go when I'm looking for financial advice is fabswingers. Give it all to me and I will keep it safe.

See an IFA. This is not the place for financial advice. While I trust people on here with my man I wouldn’t trust them with my money!!!

Xx

I second this. Depending on the amount, it might be wise to split it into different accounts

People literally ask all manor of questions on here

From deep philosophical questions, to medical queries and in this instance financial advice.

It doesn't have to be about the various ways in which genitals can be toyed with

If you’re a base rate, or higher earner consider putting 50% in your pension, and doing a self-assessment. It will reduce your tax liability and be invested with compound interest. The other half buy something that brings you joy and pay down any debt. That’s what I would do. This is by no means financial advice and see an IFA
