Do you involve yourself in group chats on what's app or telegram?
If you do, do you find yourself overwhelmed by them or your contributions ignored? Do you ever mute the notifications for them and do you keep the history?
I currently only have 3 group chats and 2 of them are family. I don't post much and don't keep history of them. |

I have a group chat for a game me and household members play, but it's stupidly quiet.
I have another with my household members but obviously that's only used when any of us are out or away.
I have a couple of group chats with friends, there is no more than 4 people in any of those chats.
I manage them fine as they aren't busy enough or big enough to overwhelming at any point. |

My regular chat is my son’s school parents group.
I’m in a couple of Fab organised social groups at the moment, until the event but I very rarely comment in them.
I don’t message much in general.

I’m in lots of group chats for all sorts of things in real life, but for the most part I don’t contribute to them unless I need to. I don’t really message people anymore, just occasionally see people IRL.
Used to be in two fab group chats, which were fun for a while and, at one crucial point in time, very supportive, for which I will always be grateful.
They were also full of misandry and politics. when most of the people stopped responding to me, it made me feel unwelcome so I left. |

Just really one with women full of wisdom and joy who don't need to yap every day about every single thing they did and what do we think of it. love you if you read this.
Other than that the usual school/scouts/other crap and events chats.

I'm in four group chats.
One is an alumni group for attendees of a social. Two are for upcoming socials that'll be deleted the morning after. One is a family group chat (which is excitedly buzzing away after my little sister's results today).
Oh wait, five. If a chat with a couple is a group chat. Yep, five. :D
I left fab group chats not involving socials almost three years ago now. No desire to join any. |

"Nope find group chats and stuff brings around bullying and singleing off people out just bad all around to be honest "
Id say a lot of this would actually depend on the actual type of people within. It can be a rare find, finding level headed people on the same wavelength at times and I'm grateful for those I have its like you don't need anything else |

I have some group chats on Skype with single ladies and come MF couples. Some are one offs and some on and off, just depends. Generally start as one to one contacts and goes from there. They're always good fun though! |

I'm in a work group chat.
On here I don't do them anymore. Too much drama, fighting back stabbing and passing of others info goes on in them from what I saw when I was in any. There were very few that were good craic and people just having a laugh and getting on. So I made the decision to not bother with them a few years ago. |

I'm in a group chat on a messenger app, it took me a long time to feel settled in it.
I'm not a lover of group chats myself, especially ones that move fast but through that group I've met some wonderful friends

"I’m in a group, it’s easy to manage. I pop in and reply and then pop out. ????????
Doesn't count when you are the only one in there Woody! "
*Woody cries.
Narrator- don’t worry Woody, you’re a strong and capable man.
Oh, I see what you mean. |

I'm in 3 WhatsApp groups, 2 of which are for a walking group and the third for kayaking.
There has been zero conversation on 2 of those groups in the last year or more and even the active one is only a handful of messages a week so I don't worry too much about notifications etc.
I'm not in any fab related groups and haven't been in a few years mainly because I'm an adult and haven't been at school in 40+ years. |

I can't usually be arsed to join in the friends group chat. It's always led by the one person I don't count as a friend!!
Family chats can be absolutely wonderful. |
