I would say that yes, it is possible, for example, many successful people have failed many times before succeding and the ability to learn from failure and keep trying is the receptor of eventual success.
I like this saying "I will succeed because I am willing to fail more times that you would ever try".
What is your view about it and do you also agree with it? |

Every successful person you see , tried and failed many times. The trick is they get back up and keep going.
Anyone who is successful right away will soon fall as they have no experience to draw on and can't see the pitfalls coming. They just fall more spectacularly but with resilience can also get up again and keep going. |

I know someone who failed their driving test numerous times, they eventually passed with 0 minor faults.
Yes it can happen
I think if you treat every fail as a learning curve you can succeed and you will have a deeper understanding of what it is you are trying to achieve. And possibly you are likely to stay a success because you recognise how hard you have worked to get there |

This is exactly it. I don't think anyone believes that failing means eternal failure. You learn. Keep trying. Until you get it right one day. I think resilience is one of the most admirable traits a person can have; that ability to keep going because it's something you believe in? So what if you fail along the way - if you're still trying that's the most *important thing.
*obviously there are times when you shouldn't keep trying. :D |

I agree with those things too that those who succeed straight away wont have the same kind of experience of those who keep trying and eventually gets there |

It only takes once to succeed, it all depends how much you want it " Hi comtessa, yes, that is also a good quote from hm too and yes, it also depends how much you want it as well |

"Yes it is. People fail exams then go on to pass. Yes, you are right about that too as they fail first then pass it "
This, I failed my first two attempts at my theory work and practicals before passing my exams this year.

I like Steven Bartlett's thought on it.
The reason you're not good at it, is because you haven't been willing to suck at it, for long enough to get good at it. Mastery begins with a commitment to suck at something for long enough to learn. |

"Very literal example here
Climbing... you will fall many time before you finally send the climb
Although maybe skydiving isn’t for you "
I think parachute packing would be the thing to get right the first time |

"Yes! That sounds like my learning to drive story.
Got there in the end!!
"
Is that what the examiner said, as he wiped the sweat from his brow and tried to unscrew the top of his bottle of valium, with shaking hands |

Failure is character building.
Whenever something doesn't go right I tell myself or other people :
Get up, wipe your mouth and go again.
Not sure where I got that from though. |

People assume success is very linear but it’s actually more like investments , there are a series of big steps up and down and a compound effect and rewards of staying in for the long haul.
Interesting Seth Godins book the dip teaches you to quit often & frequently the things you should not be doing and dig in through the dips on the things you should be doing. |
