Ah sure each to their own... I didn't mean to piss in anyone's cornflakes. The post was more about making people aware that a selfie is NOT a picture with your face blocked. Iv plenty of face pics upon request, but as practically everyone on here is hiding from someone (family friends work or even partners) we keep our faces private, until asked politely if they can see it  |

It's our prerogative to request what we want, have your own preferences and to assume that those who don't comply may not be as interested in our needs as those who do.
If they show disinterest in my needs early on, that's almost as much of a red flag as a time waster, failing to communicate to me.
I don't have success with the guys who send an obscured face pic, so I largely move on. For some it may be embarrassment, lack of confidence or fear of being caught cheating. I'd prefer honesty. |

I have messages females , couples on here. I have found often. That I will be asked for a face photo in first couple messages. My normal reply is send one first . I will send in reply. Have have females and couples say will only send once decide to meet.
So my thought to that is I send but have to wait for their face photo only if they decide to meet. ?

Demanding a face pic at the outset shows a sense of entitlement and a disregard for the privacy of others. I would never send a face pic with the initial message nor would I expect it. If the conversation was progressing then face pics may be sent or exchanged.
But the idea of sending a face pic to someone that I probably have nothing in common with just doesn't work.
