You’ve ever brought for yourself.

I don’t mean a car or house so don’t include those.

For me I brought myself a pair of Louboutin shoes that I wore for my son’s graduation

20+ years ago I bought a Armani suit to go out on a Christmas doo

And a real Rolex

The whole outfit (suit shoes shirt tie) cost me £1800 the watch was £1200

3k for a night out + I ended up spending £500 on beer &g3@r

All just to show off that I was earning more money than everyone else

Thinking back it was a good night but what a knob I was

Not 1 of my proudest achievements tbh

The only thing I’ve got left of that outfit today is the cuff links that were the cheapest part lol

Bought a few guitars that def weren’t cheap. I collect coins and bought sovereigns but I guess my most expensive single item was my workshop and kitting it out.

"You’ve ever brought for yourself.

I don’t mean a car or house so don’t include those.

For me I brought myself a pair of Louboutin shoes that I wore for my son’s graduation

"

I love Louboutins but would actually cry if I scratched the soles- you know they are carpet shoes, right? Even then it's not safe!

Most expensive item probably an Ebike.

"A forest.

Pray tell!

It's a decent sized forest I bought a few years back, partly as an investment but mainly as a place to build off-grid cabins for holidays and partying, motocross circuit, etc.

You can DM me if you'd like to know more. "

I'd love that

To be fair, that is a risk anytime you let "strangers" into your home, I can't see this thread changing much... especially as most burglars are blokes, and blokes rarely get a meet anyway.

Hah! Harsh - I like it!

I’m just thinking there are probably some people on here who hide their jewellery when they accommodate. Then there are folk on here who advertise it’s existence

Darwinian logic though, I suppose. Also: as an aside - the crime which women are most commonly prosecuted for is theft

I'm not sure I even own anything expensive. I really aren't materialistic at all. Maybe because I'm a mum to 4 daughter's. I can't justify spending loads on myself, it feels wrong. I'd rather someone else have an expensive gift from me.

Family holidays, that's my biggest treat expense. We all benefit from that, so perhaps that counts?

I spent about £400 on make up for our wedding (I did get a free bag and make up make...which didn't fit everything lol)

But the most expensive singular thing was £160 on a DKNY bag, which got taken in a cemetery in London out of my car, when I was standing just feet away from it and someone was in the car at the time. I had it and then didn't
