"How many people on here actually use Ordnance Survey maps?
We do! Use them on our camping and hiking trips as they don't hsbe batteries that go flat or rely on GPS that can be poor."
I wish there were more like you.
My primary use of OS maps is to show people who insist they are on a public right of way that in fact they are not and the the right of way is actually ‘over there’, that would be three fields away |

Likewise we use them when walking over the moors etc.
I also used to use them in my last job for collection points. When you're in and out of farms all day or night the sat nav wasn't always accurate enough. |
