This is an interesting point.
I'd have thought she'd want to put football to the back of her mind at the crucial moment. She'd be very one dimensional otherwise.
Do we make the same assumption about people in other professions? Do teachers write you a report after? Do accountants scrutinise your figure? Is this reply hackneyed and clichéd? |
