Generally, I go for the top of the range and then drop down one or two levels for the deals.
Latest and greatest handset's demand the bigger tariffs but great deals can be had with a little looking.
As for specific phones, essentially, anything but Apple. As they are the devil's handset's.
Basically.

Refurbished phones are cheaper than brand new, if you must have the latest model.
I prefer to not get top of the range immediately on launch and always buy on special offer.
I read reviews too, so I'm better informed, including of alternative, competitive models. |

"My phone died today, I'm looking at a refurbished Galaxy S21 5g, has anyone any similar suggestions or advice, or should I just go for it?"
I had the s21 Ultra which was amazing. I use my phone 12 hours a day for work though and the extra weight caused the tendons in my little finger to get really painful. I'd have that over the standard s22 every day of the week though for standard use. |

Exactly, that is what I have been doing, and it's good to know the phone I'm looking at is a popular choice.
Thank you everybody for all your advice and confirmations. |

Jeeeesus, your phone is barely cold and already you’re eyeing up a replacement, at least pretend to show a semblance of grief, a couple of days should do for the mourning. |
