I once was sent a video link of what looked like a demonstration...
Loads of people shouting and screaming.
I watched and realised they were all guys and were turkish...
This was filmed in a village.
I carried on watching and realised what i was looking at and it horrified me and sent shivers down my spine.
I was watching these men stone a young girl (16) . she was bloody and battered on the floor, silent in her pain.
Then you watch a man (father or brother) pick up a huge boulder and drop it on her head.
It was obvious she was dead and they then covered her modesty up as her dress had ridden up...
Her crime.........
She kissed a young boy of same age and so had disgraced her family.
I was crying watching said footage.
AND apparantly the turkish government had to step in as it ended up on youtube.
Said family members were inprisoned for life.
I would have killed them for doing what they did. |

American states that still have the death penalty have higher crime rates than those non death penalty states, this has been true every year since 1990. As a deterrant it just doesnt work. |

"Used to think so with euthanasia for someone in intolerable pain but having second thoughts right now."
i personally think this should be ok to do, if someone is ill and they have no chance of recovery why string them out right till the very end knowing they are going to die in lots of pain, i personally have lots of sympathy for people who have been sent to jail for helping loved ones pass away early
My gran always used to say, if you treat a dog like that someone would call the RSPCA, god rest her soul, its right tho
if i had cancer or any such like illness and i knew it was way past treating id sooner go away quietly and as soon as possible |

Probably sounds silly to most, but i really dont see euthanasia as killing someone...as they are already dying, youre just shortening the process humanely... |

The legal answer is written in law but the moral answer is when you can do it and never feel guilty about it.
I have killed people, I am niether proud nor ashamed of it, I believed it was right then I believe it was right today, others may disagree.
Is he a terrorist or a freedom fighter, history and politicians decide that in the end you can only do what you think is right and be prepared for the consequences.
Youthanasia is one for personal concious, in some countries like Switzerland it is legal but no matter what the law says, those involved have to deal with it.
If it ever became legal in this country I don't think doctors should be made to do it, I believe there are enough doctors who support the practice to ensure it could be thier personal choice to opt in or out of the operation. |

thats how i see it, why drag them thro a painful and undignified death when a simple injection could stop all that, i know i would want it and i know i would want it for a loved one, id sooner them be at be at peace than in that much pain they are drugged up for their last few months, thats not living |

If some scumbag wants to break into my house at 3am then he best be prepared to meet his maker coz I'm not gonna stop to asked him if he's ready to die. My wife and kids will be asleep upstairs and my first duty is to proect them even at the cost of my own liberty. I would have no qualms whatsoever in dispatching trash like that.
Child molesters/murderers ... Give me the rope and I'll string them up with a smile on my face.
People who batter old people senseless.... Put them in a room with me for 5 minutes.
Wifebeaters.... Fucking wankers pretending to be men... Lemme at em!
As for euthanasia, I think it's down the individual concerned and the govt should stay out of it. If I'm ever in the position where I have no quality of life then my family know what my wishes are and I'd expect them to carry them out, in fact, I'd resent them if they didn't (if I was still compus mentus that is).

Well, I am torn on this one, my mum had cancer and although she had good care and morphine I can't imagine having to decide to end her life so I'd say never in that circumstance |
