"Fenix 7X Solar

Datejust
Casio F91W
What’s your verdict on the 7x? And is it a smart watch "
Brilliant, had the 6 Pro as well. Not a massive difference between them but you can't beat them in my opinion! Does everything, and yeah has all the smart features as well . Garmin don't mess about with watches! |

Roll yeah touchscreen now! Whereas the 6 wasn't, makes it easier to navigate. Especially with maps and choosing workouts etc. Even has a torch on it |

I've got a wooden watch - well, the bracelet, facia, and back are made of wood. The movement isn't, but it can be seen through cut-outs in the facia, as seen on my profile pic! |

Original Gucci G watch 3600J as my dress watch. Bought in 1998. Not mega expensive but simple, beautiful and class. Not worth a great deal but I wouldn't be without it.
Garmin Forerunner for daily use. Scratched to bits. |

The only time piece I have is a rather battered silver pocket watch with an inscription dated 1911 to a relative of mine.
Haven’t owned or worn a wrist watch since the timex I saved up for got nicked from the school changing rooms in 1980. |

"Got an Apple Watch if that counts?"
Yes and no.
Although Apple Watches are nice. I think when we talk about a time piece we are talking about watches that get handed down, possibly to kids or people that are close to you.
I want a TAG. |

Some kind of sports heart monitor watch, probably mafe in China, got it on sale. Choice of half a dozen watch face images, tells me my pulse rate, how far I've walked every day etc. Most useful feature perhaps the timer that I use when cooking.
Syncs itself to my phone, which is set from the internet, so always accurate.
And got a bunch of bright coloured pattern plastic straps for it, so can change it to match my frock (black strap at the moment though, perhaps be ready to go back to the coloured ones next summer).
Obviously I've never seen a watch as being anything other than a utility item! |

I (dude) have a little watch collection, nothing overly expensive, but am turning 50 soon so thinking of getting either a Hublot or Omega to mark the occasion.
Always liked watches. |

This is when I’ll get my dream watch. It’s the Tag Carerra I’ve coveted it for years now. I wanted a decent watch for my 40th and didn’t happen. (Plans changed). |

Not Hublot. Omega is not in the same class. Look at the Nico Leonard YouTube channel. He hates Hublot (basically a fashion brand) and he persuaded me. Omega. If you have the cash, or a Hamilton. I am obessing about a Hamilton Pulsar at the moment. |
