I'm sure I've seen people mention apps that allow you to block certain numbers from calling you on iPhone??

Anyone know what they are?? X

It's when you bypass the Apple software on your phone and can install things they don't allow. It blows any guarantees or responsibilities of Apple if your phone goes tits up though

They must have taken it out of the apple store then. Shows on the web as iPhone compatible

I have been reading up on trying to get numbers blocked on the iPhone and as someone said unless its jail broken there doesn't seem to be a way. I just put Ignore at the start of the persons surname on contacts.

What about putting the unwanted numbers in a do not disturb group?

For telepests I make them a contact and file then under ' telepest' and I have a photo I use on my phone with a big red line throught it for such numbers.

You can even record a few moments of silence on the voice recorder and set it as their ringtone if you want to.

Not exactly sure how you do it but that's what the functionality is for.

You would be easier to just call your provider and get them to block it.

Btw jail breaking your iPhone is not a good idea and tends to stuff your phone up!
