I don't know if wet is good or bad, genuinely. One of my first male lovers whilst I was at uni would tell me I get too wet. Prolapse porn really grinds my gears. It's NOT sexy, it's NOT amusing. It's really unpleasant to experience and can be incredibly traumatic for women who experience it. It's far too common and there are far too few gynae/urogynae appointments for women to get help.

I never worried about my quim until I joined fab 8 years ago. Back when I started having sex I'd never really seen much porn, so wasn't exposed to the small-flapped hair-free aesthetic until well after I'd had a fair amount of casual sex. Then I got married and had kids. Things change downstairs after childbirth, what with splittage, and stitches, and being stitched up incorrectly, and having to have them redone 8 months later.....Then there's perimenopause and all the changes that brings.

Yes! It's brushed under the carpet or ignored or some archaic barbaric treatment is considered (I think they no longer offer it?) as the only solution. A family member was telling me about the markedly different approach the French HCPs take with "women's issues". After birth it's so vastly different and not something that's sniggered at or made light of.

After pushing out three children mine is unlikely to win any prizes in a beauty contest.
