Turn you on though?
If you're flirting with someone and there's a bit of an age gap (say 10+ years) do you get that added 'that would be hot' due to the age gap?
Not a how young or old would you go like the others, but just if that brings out another little kinky side to you is all! |

Turn me on? Not exactly.
I'd be lieing if there was not some sort of appeal to it, but I'm not quite sure how to describe it.
Like of course being the older one of having somebody younger find me attractive and want me is a boost. But it's not one I strive for or need.
As for somebody older being appealing, again it's not something I need nore is it the age gap that's the turn on. It's a little less valid these days but I think it stems from being early 20s and an older woman seeing past the "immature" stereotype of youth to find me both attractive and more than just the young immature guy. |

Erm sometimes it has in the past. I quite enjoyed playing with that side of things, for reasons I'm not going in to. There's a bit of a thrill surrounding it.
Now I'm more likely to try and avoid it though - I'm past the point of discounting men who are closer to my age.

I've never been attracted to men my age or older, prefer younger but not sure why. Its deffo not because the age itself is a turn on, it's just how I am. |

I don't think of ten years as an age gap any more. Once I got to 50 it was a level playing field between that and 70 as far as I was concerned. Of course at 20,30 and 40 ten years is a significant gap, I get that. |

So when you hit 50, 50-70 is a level playing field. Does that work the other way? 30-50? I'm curious, apologies! |

For me it's a level playing field not everyone. In my eyes the gap between 30 and 50 is far wider than the gap between 50 and 70, mentally, physically, culturally etc. Men of 50 sometimes refer to me as an 'older woman ' and of course they're right but I'm perplexed at first because I think if everyone over 50/55 as of a similar age.
I'm not sure I've explained that very well |

I find an age gap hot if the other person is older than me. I’m not really that interested in people younger.
But yeah, older and in shape women and men are a big big turn on. |

Yes, definitely. New to me since joining Fab though, it never really appealed before.
I guess I'm that bit older now and it's more fun.
The last guy I met was 25 and that was really hot. He was very sweet and flirty, it makes me feel young again! |

When I was younger it was always older, fooled into thinking there were more experienced and better. They were not.
I seem to go for younger guys now, maybe that's just because I'm getting old though. Not too young though, I still have the image of the 17 yr old laying there with his tongue out like a fucking dog.
I wouldn't say it turns me on though. Well it doesn't.

No, I try not to notice age, if I like someone then I like them and their age is irrelevant, having had a long term relationship that had a big age gap, you stop noticing the age pretty quickly anyway |

Ah thank you! You explained it perfectly - there is a larger gap between thirties and fifties than 50+ in general. Thank you. |

I fancy people of all ages.
Mr actively likes older women.
I get a lil sad now when we get messages from 20 something's proclaiming their love of an older woman and I think to myself but I'm still a young woman
Then I remember in their eyes I'm really not |

I mean even a year above is an older woman and I may make a joke about it but ultimately I only really mention it if they mention me being the younger guy.
Which I love being obviously if that wasn't clear. |

Ah I was in editing mode! I'll waffle now it's lunch time.
I do think that there can be more of a gap - I've exclusively dated/had sex with older men (as in minimum ten years) and now I'm no longer doing that I do notice the gap more easily. I'm still going to take things on an individual level - that generational gap really depends on how both people are with each other.
I've experienced cultural/mentality differences with those closer to my age, immaturity from those significantly older, you get the idea.
I'm always going to have a bit of a wide on for the whole silver fox thing but I do think you're right about the differences, as a generalisation. |

It's just the person for me. I've had a few younger guys get hung up on me wanting virile, young cock. I can't really raise much enthusiasm for that idea. Sorry! |

For me on Fab. Age is very restrictive. There are some older than me on here. Most are of course younger.
I look at all profiles that are in age range. 18-99.
Some I do message or wink. Plus I have to really expand my travel distance , due to finding.
I do get replies and yes some are now on friends list.
I have found that it is the person /persons chatting with can make all the difference. One chatting with at moment in thirty's. I actually asked if age was correct, seemed by chat more mature. Seen photos now so know they are.
My thought really is age just number. Depends on what looking for and are all happy . |
