We are a couple who have been swinging a few years. Last year Liza had to have her leg below her knee amputated and it has knocked her confidence. She thinks people won't want to meet or be up for fun with us now. Would people still want to meet or would they not want to meet. We would love to see people's opinions on this. |

Sorry to hear about the limb loss, I hope she's recovering well! I'm with the general consensus so far, it wouldn't factor at all in my decision to meet or not and in my eyes this would not affect how attractive someone is. Some people are after physical perfection though so it's a case of filtering them out. Perhaps when you feel comfortable to do so you can share this info on your profile, then people who have a problem with it will simply avoid you instead of you having to inform them in chat and have to face them pulling out, which is not pleasant for something that you already feel is a disadvantage.
Another thing I'd like to point out, and forgive if you find this entirely inappropriate but I feel emboldened to mention it as this is fabs - do you realise there are amputee fetishists out there? You may feel that attention to the amputation is the furthest from what you want right now, but if you're comfortable with it you could lean right into this approach, even if only as a thought experiment, and turn the situation around. Sexualising trauma has helped me a great deal to move on and heal, which is why I suggest this as an option to consider. |

Don’t see how it should affect anyone’s likeness towards her.. if she’s genuinely a nice person with mutual interests, I don’t see it being an issue. Best way to build her confidence is throwing herself back out there and prepare for possible rejection |

If I felt like we were all compatible with each other then no, it wouldn't put me off meeting at all. If it did put anyone off, then think yourselves lucky you dodged meeting with anyone with such a shallow attitude! I hope your wife gets her confidence back |

Sorry to hear that. I don't think it makes any difference to most people. It wouldn't bother me at all.
Liza - Be confident - be proud. You are amazing and it doesn't detract from how sexy you are. |

No it would not be a problem to us I the Male have mobility problems and classed as disabled after use walking sticks for balance but its says at the start of our profile so people know straight away so if it's a problem they can pass us by not had any problems with any meets we have had.
Plus we used to meet up with a couple regularly where the Male had only one leg and we had some fun times together just a shame they are no longer in the lifestyle. |
