Two closely matched teams but we'll edge it

I think Sweden would have been a tougher opponent for us, so was glad to see Spain get through.

I would like to think we have a good chance

Think it helps there are two players in the England team playing in Spain and know most of team

If the Oracle says we'll win then we'll win!

Id keep the starting team the same as today. But be ready to sub James on at the right moment.

That's fair. I think the current XI and those who've played through the rounds deserve their chances first. With the caveat we should, of course, play the best starting XI.

I think it genuinely doesn't matter who we play. Injuries, suspensions they matter not. We have the edge in Sarina who is obviously the best ladies manager in the world. Goes to the Netherlands and wins the Euros, goes to England and wins the Euros and now the World Cup Final

Yes But should venues be allowed to sell alcohol before 11am i guess they could give to to customers with an IOU and they could pay later or run a tab for a table or person.

Why? Can people not watch the first half with a soft drink?

I'm sure they could if there was no other choice. For many people though, it's a big part of the match day experience, having a couple of drinks before the game with family & friends, building up the atmosphere, waiting for the team lineups to be announced, having a moan at the mgr for picking the wrong team!!

It's like saying why couldn't you go out to a party and drink soft drinks rather than have a few beers. You could, but it wouldn't be as much fun for those of us who like to have a drink

Its only an hour. Alcohol can be served from 11am, can't it? That's kick off time. I genuinely can't understand why it's such an issue, sorry. I'm off out tonight to the Manchester pre social, I shan't be drinking alcohol and will have a great night. I have to drive home. On another occasion, I might have one drink (though I've not really d*unk much alcohol for many years now, mainly once or twice a year).

It's possible to have a great time and have soft drinks for the first hour. I'd understand more if it was no alcohol whatsoever during/around the match.

I think England will win it if Lauren James starts but I don’t think she will as I can’t see the manager changing a winning team especially in tournament football.Even if Lauren doesn’t start I still think England will win. If Spain had resolved the situation with the Spanish players sitting at home they would have been my pick to win the tournament.

More to the point if it was a men's final would government have been recalled so the pubs could. But as it just the ladies it's more oh it will be OK just think something could have been done.

I don’t know enough about Spain to be certain but I’ve just seen England have only lost one game in 37. That’s an unbelievable record so they should be able to make that 38.

couple, us we him her.

How long before the women's game is hijacked by the same bunch of knuckle dragging Neanderthals who attended the men's game?

I wish the ladies luck on Sunday but I have no interest in it.

. As someone who is a social drinker I really don’t understand why you would want to go to a pub say at 10.30am and want a alcoholic drink. If I was going to go it would be for a cooked breakfast, cup of tea and wait until the final whistle were by England have won the women World Cup and toast the victory with a strawberry & lime cider.

England ladies have more chance to scoring than me

I say it will be either penalties. Or 2-1. 4-2 we have to be clear of 2 goals. We need to keep possession and kick ball away from Spains end

Spain are feisty. It is their first time in a final.

Come on England ladies
