I think this is my ‘when the fun stops, stop’ moment.

What are you just not feeling any more?

Hotels. I think once my Marriot points are used up I’m done for good with this style of accommodation. It’s expensive and there’s so many more creative and interesting places to sleep and eat

Oh Pickle.

If you're not enjoying something, take a break/breather until you are. Or change something so you do enjoy it.

I'm not feeling feeling like I'm not good enough to spend time with.

So I'm being proactive and minimising that noise and focusing on positive things.

Sometimes you just need that gentle push to take steps so things do bring you happiness/don't disturb your peace.

Im not enjoying sitting around watching life pass by waiting for things to happen …. It’s time to make them happen

Take a little time away and I bet you can refresh and reflect on what you want

Oh lovely Pickle, hide your profile for a bit. Take a break and come back when you're feeling better. Because you add such a lot to these forums, they're a better place with you here!

Those who know me will know what I am not feeling

At times this place can give the impression everyone else is having a great time

At times I think of taking break but it's one of the few places I chat to people

Hope you find your drive again OP

I live with an abiding sense that most things I do are pointless. I get you.

Take a break and focus on something else for a bit. Eventually, the fun should return.

You could always go and read my entry on the "you should fuck me because..." thread. Read it a couple of times. Then, if you like, you might strangely feel like dropping me a message. The fun might return. Just saying...

To be fair, it’s not even really so much about fab! There’s a few things I was excited about and enjoying that I’m just not feeling.

I do love the fab even when I’m not feeling posting so much because I’ve been lucky enough to make wonderful connections on here

Thank you for the lovely comments though. And with regards to the things that triggered this post, non fab stuff, think I just have to make a decision that’s best for my well-being.

Travelling

Sometimes I find changing your outlook towards the the place helps too. Raise or tone down the seriousness, drop or add the comedy. Essentially a different approach to it all.

Then dip out if that doesn't help.

I minimise my engagement with it.

Don’t even. That’ll make me even more depressed. Might start another landlord thread

Mmm. It's a bit like dealing with dog shit. You do as little of it as you can get away with.

Not another landlord thread Pickles, I’m still not okay after the last one.

Hope you’ll find your inner knowing and peace

It’s always good to recognise/acknowledge when you’re feeling this way, and make the right steps to help it. Which is exactly what you’ve done, I’m proud of you

Aww Steve, bad day?

I believe I did have one recently but I have the memory of a sieve so I only have the lingering feeling of sad nope, rather than the event that caused it in my head.
