"Taco bell utter rubbish."
Our answer too. First time tried it, mediocre at best. They opened a branch in Leicester. Offered a free Taco to everyone in the local press. We were in town with the family and thought why not for a free taco. There was a large queue outside of the door (understandable with free tacos and launch day). Occasionally some people would leave the queue. Wasn't till we got to the front of the queue the security guard told us there are no free tacos despite the voucher (yet plenty tacos you could buy). They basically wanted to stir up hype without actually having any intention (IMO) of honoring their tempting offer. We did not buy anything (we would have to go with our free tacos) and swore never to step foot in a Taco Bell ever again. |

"Evri! Had a bad experience with them a while back then an even worse one after giving them a second chance. Never again! "
I ordered something at the beginning of the month. Two day delivery they said.
The company are waiting for the item back so they can send it to me via a different courier |

Dominos...not only are they expensive for what they are. But the founder / big shareholder uses his wealth to fund anti abortion groups etc...so he ain't getting any money from me. |

There is a small cafe not that far from me, looks new-ish and they had Too Good To Go bag available the other day, so decided to check it out with my partner. Very first impression of the area the cafe is was not positive. They are just in a village/new estate, nowhere near anywhere that attracts loads of people. Yet if you want to park on their car park, you have to register your car. Walking in, it looked quite good but then it gave me the impression that it struggled with its identity, it tried to be too many things at one. Coffee was disappointing, my partner described it as drinking brewed pencils. And the bag contained a whole of 1 sandwich and 1 roll- it was advertised as £12 worth (charged at £3.99). That was definitely not value for money, and if a sandwich and a roll are worth £12 for a village cafe, it's not somewhere I want to go again. |

"Gold rentacar in Spain, they're just criminal!"
Most European car hire places are taking advantage of Brits at best, down right extortionate at worst.
I always use my Ireland ID to book, have a dedicated credit card just for that that I pay off immediately and most importantly get RAC (other companies available) hire car insurance.
Place in Fuerteventura tried to sting me for over £3000 of damage so I just said sure put it in the card, to their confusion that I didn't complain or fight back, then immediately in front of them called the credit card company and the insurance and by the next day all charges were refunded and also a bit more as compensation so I paid about half the original hire. |

That sounds like a lot of faffing around to save a few quid.
We always use local car hire companies and never had any issues. |

£3000 is just a few quid?
Also when you mention you have extra insurance etc they atop trying to up sell all the packages as they know you don't need it and that's where they make their money. |
