Will you be able to leave your kids anything to help them in life….or

They’re adults now and it’s down to them to make their own way in life …. It’s a tough world out there now??

I've already helped my daughter buy a house and I should leave some money.

Ours are grown and doing better than we ever did. They don't need anything from us.

If we don't need full time care there will be our house.

Most under 40s have given up hope if ever owning property.

My son is doing amazingly well, long may it continue. I think it can be difficult finding a balance - he knows I’m here for him (financially and otherwise within reason!) but extremely important to instil ‘standing on one’s own feet’ values. It’s really only ourselves we have to fall back on

Yep. I think it would be nice if once we've clocked off the kids could get a boost to their finances, maybe make their retirement easier.

I have no kids. Nor do I plan to have any, so I don't have this worry at all.

Nothing but my memory! Half of them doing very well for themselves and 2 0f my grandchildren are doing well financially! The others will find their way ! I do worry as we all do about when I'm not here! Not for the financial aspect but the emotional side! But they will do just fine life progresses and hopefully I've made happy memories for them along the way! Was just thinking this morning as one of my granddaughters visited with my little great-grandson hope I'm around long enough for him to remember me! As at his age they remember nothing x

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

My Daughter and my Son In Law both have successful business's so have bypassed them in my will which means that my estate will be split equally by my three grand kids and which will be held in trust until they are 21.

This could be interesting if my 76 year old sister pre-deceases me I will receive a very substantial sum of money which in turn will find its way into the grandkids trust fund.

If we could we'd give them a load of money now. We'd love to see them have no financial worries at all. They both do well anyway but it would be lovely to see them free of mortgages etc
