IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
Does anybody have an ICE number stored into their mobile phone?
I do, as I have a few health problems and god forbid I was in an accident, I'd like there to be immediate contact with my next of kin, so have their number as my ICE contact. This way they know all my medication, blood group and medical conditions if needed. |

"I did , but my phone is password protected so no one would be able to use it anyway , unless there is something I don't know ."
The Police can do anything you know. They have the secret codes. |

"What phone do you have wishy
I have the galaxy s 3. My ice contacts can be accessed without unlocking my phone "
I have the same phone as you. I haven't set up an ICE number, I guess I should really. My phone isn't locked anyway, you just swipe the thing and it powers up again. |

Can't on my iPhone and still no idea what you're supposed to save it as, must be being blonde
However I always think, well if I have an accident, they can look in my purse and see my driving licence with my address on and then they will find my next of kin.

I also have a copy of my repeat prescriptions in all my handbags as well in case they are needed and i used to have a label on my front door but took that off. If you have a label on the front door you keep all your medical history in a tube in your fridge and if they are called out in emergency they know to look in there |

For those with galaxy s 3 that use a screen lock you should have a button at the bottom of the screen for emergency calls only. Next to the zero on the keypad on the left is a button that looks like a person with a light next to it. When you press is it takes you to ice contacts. That way emergency services can access it without unlocking your phone xx |

I've been wearing an SOS for mine since my 20s.

"Still no one has explained to me what you are supposed to save it as?
I can't start calling Ice not M "
In my phonebook, I have a friend as ICE2 (he's my 2nd contact) and his name.
So you could have ICE1 M |

There's a free ICE app for iPhone that keeps numbers and medical conditions |

I do and have done for years but have known about the ICE campaign for some time due to the nature of my job.
Its so important for as many people to do this as possible and cuts down on so much work when having to contact people.
Ive put ICE numbers into my kids phones, have all my family on it lol and you should have 2 numbers just incase |

"I do have ICE numbers yes. But I lock my phone so it probably defeats the object.
If I remember right Mobby operators can remote unlock at the push of a key "
If it's possible that's probably only done at the request of the police though for security reasons. By which point they'd probably have contacted someone using ID in my wallet anyway. As happened when I had a bike crash a few years ago. |

Not sure if they still do it, but there used to be a sleeve that went over the chin strap of a crash helmet saying do not remove but also was a bit to put contact details on it. |
