Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

On a multi day expedition into the mountains. I'd rather carry a small bottle of scotch than a tin of deodorant!

Had a friend who not only didn't wear deoderant but did not shower in the two weeks he visited me in Hong Kong. Tried to get him to shower before he flew back to the UK, but he said he did not need one. Felt so sorry for whoever was going to sit next to him on the flight home as he smelt really sour!

It's acceptable in the period between turning off the shower and drying yourself! After that it's not acceptable! (especially if you use the tube !!)

Travelling

Whenever I'm not going to be around anyone. I'm sensitive and have sensitive pits.

So I tend to avoid using certain things when not necessary, even some natural stuff can be irritating when overused.

I do like to smell good though.

Lynx Africa box sets coming to a store near you very soon. Or may find them in clearance at a wilko near you.

Deodorant is useless. Antiperspirant is essential.

I like to ferment my pit liquor and make me a wonderful alcohol from it. Say no to deodorant, down with the capitalist pigs.

No need straight from the shower or bath, I suppose. Some are a bit stinky.

"When I shower before bed, I don't put anything on. Is that acceptable?"

Apparently...

At night, your body temperature drops, which means you sweat less. When your sweat glands are less active, your sweat ducts may be able to better absorb the aluminum-based active ingredient in antiperspirant. Overnight, the product has time to sink in and effectively block those sweat ducts.

Who knew

Freshly bathed and ready for sex is all one needs, since it's never ideal to have a mouthful of antiperspirant...

"Some don't wear it in the gym of all places."

Fuck. I had no idea quite how bad men could stink until I started going to the gym. Sweat doesn't really have much of a smell, it only smells when it starts rotting. The way some men smell at the gym probably means that they haven't washed in a couple of days!

My dad used to bath monthly and claimed only dirty people needed to bathe more often. Needless to say he never used deodorant.

When you use it as a "Shower in a can" as NY mate at uni used to call it.

It just builds layers of gip...like stale paint.

Ooh I'm going to disagree with you there. I had a meet years ago with a lovely fella, he was freshly showered, but his pits absolutely stank of bo! I delicately mentioned it after the meet when I made my excuses to leave early. He said he'd had this mentioned a few times by meets!!
