Today?
I'm thankful for my man.
My mind.
My bank account.
My voice.
I'm really looking forward to spending time with someone this weekend. Kind of got those daft, slightly nervous butterflies but I'm going to try and ignore them.
I'm also going to a farmer's market at some point. And ordering a dress because there's a whole world of clothing I can now fit in. Oh and iced coffee aplenty!

Butterflies are good, right? Nervous excitement, anticipation, adrenaline. Like the first climb on a roller coaster, if you like that sort of thing 
Enjoy the farmers market. Debs went yesterday as there's one outside her work every fortnight. Massive pastries sat in the cupboard waiting to be devoured later 
Enjoy shopping and enjoy everything else there is to come. Hope you get the dresses you want! |

I'm thankful for lots of things, my amazing man, my kids even if they are driving me crazy, my home everything really.

All wonderful things indeed. But to cheer you up, only 3 weeks till they return to school (depending where you live and how old they are of course!)
Enjoy the social. Again, good nerves, excitable nerves. If you didn't get nervous it wouldn't mean as much to you. |

What had looked like a good Friday, with an evening out with friends and been ruined because I work with incompetent simpletons who cannot follow basic instructions. Also expecting a call from HR.

Left work at 8 last and have been in this mornng to finish off sorting out the mess they made. HR were sent packing with some choice words (I leave the company in 6 weeks so dont care) and the workers (who I asked if we get a grant for having them or if they are employed to meet a quota) are now off the job under direction of the company we are subcontracting to
