Comic Relief

Do you think its right for donations to Comic Relief to go the Africa. Part of the money is used to finance projects and schemes etc in the UK but a lot of the money is sent to Africa. Why is money not sent to other countries in addition to Africa or why isn't the money kept within the UK?

Please note I am playing Devils Advocate and just seeking your opinion.

When the charity was set up it set its objects to support projects here and Africa. They haven't changed that.

All charities have to have a defined area of benefit. Comic Relief could look to change its objects but I don't think the trustees would wish to at this time.

Why not.. Charities all help a specific cause.. Comic relief was primiraly set up to help those in africa.. Children in need for children in the uk, cancer research for as it says and so on
