He's died aged 80.

He is one of my boyhood hero's.

Watching him play guitar and perform on the Last Waltz is what inspired me to pick up the instrument.

I am sad he has died.

That's sad, and strange for me because I was listening to them playing "The night they drove old dixie down" on a y*u t*be mix only two days ago and didn't know he had gone
