"Stanley is deffo going out of style.. I know more dogs with that name than people."
It is coming back. I know a few people with kids born in the past 6 years called Stanley. Okay not a big pool to pick from. But still, that's more kids than I knew growing up called it. |

"I'd like to think names like Jayden and Kayden have started to decline "
As long as there are people fetishising Black men and mixed (Black and non Black) children these names will NEVER die. Another thing I joke about often with my gf |

It’s the wrong word but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it described as that but people fetishise being with Black men and part of that is the fantasy of having mixed children. ‘They’ll be the best colour’ ‘their curls ’ etc |

Anyway what names do you think are dying out or will die out?

Off topic but the flip side is the racism jumps out eventually- someone said to my gf of my then new born daughter ‘at least she didn’t get her dad’s nose’ |

"Karl/Carl, Billy, Bert, Douglas, Kathleen, Mabel, Jillian/Jill"
I hope Karl lives on for many more generations but I fear names like Che will replace it |

Why ?
It's disrespectful.
I think some of the most beautiful people I have ever seen are mixed race. |

David, Mark and John will never die out because they’re in the Bible. "
And Simon Peter, he was after all Jesus' bestie and one of the most famous/important apostles. There are a good few other Simin's too. Simon the leper (although perhaps not commonly the Simon people name their sons after I guess?) |

I think some Biblical names are out of fashion. Like Balthazar, Nebuchadnezzar, Haggai and Habakkuk |

There were about 7 Claires in my primary school class. Can't imagine a baby Claire now.
I also have a crap name that should have died out before my time even. |

I can see Mabel making a comeback."
I would have called my daughter Mabel, it was my nans name. I think the singer might influence a few people too, lots of the old fashioned ladies names have made a come back. |
