Does anyone else suffer from Fab burn out or fatigue.
How do you deal with if?
Take a break
Leave
Find your responses getting more and more feisty
Nothing to do with meeting people at all but more for me to do with attitudes.
How many people would say what they say here to someone’s face?
Anyway time out |

I hope family stuff improves for you soon. |

I take a step back. Sometimes Fab can be a bit all consuming and you need to take a step back into reality as it were. The last time I did that I was away for a year. Remembering who you are as a person without Fab can be interesting at times |

I hide my profile when it's no fun or when I have too much to do.
Usually takes about a month, then I feel more-- sigh, what ridiculous descriptive can I pull outta my ass today, let's go wiiiiith... chipper, good, I usually feel more chipper after a month away.
Had two months away already this year. Kind of a bullshit year, enn-gee-ell.

When life circumstances are challenging, I find it difficult to enjoy Fab to its full extent.
I still like to read forum posts but not necessarily commenting so I reduce my profile to bare minimum and although I’m still there, I participate from the distance.
I do chat frequently with friends on other platforms away from fab though. |

I don’t take deliberate breaks. But life outside of here gets full sometimes and I naturally find myself spending less time/energy on the place. That feels like taking a break. It’s enough of one for me, anyway. |

Sometimes I'll take a deliberate break, especially if I can sense I'm being grumpy.
If you do hang around, take a break from focusing on "getting a meet" and chat to us on the forums, connect with people with no pressure.
Otherwise, enjoy doing something different for a bit, fab will still be here when you get back. |

"I have stamina "
How does that help the OP?
OP yep I get it and take a break the best option as others have said and see you have hidden profile. Many of course just leave and then come back have lost veris in the process.
This place is a real shit-show at times and you need to be in the right frame of mind. Forum has it's good points but I think amplifies frustrations and negative feelings. Forum has is clique, in jokes and people who hijack threads to talk about themselves rather too often. When it good spirits it washes over but at times as you say comments can more feisty and time for a break. Hope you feel better with the whole thing soon.

I don't think I've had Fab burnout, but if I am getting bored/irritated I just log on and/or post less.
I don't leave, but mainly as I couldn't be arsed to set up a new profile so I just hide it (which is not strictly necessary as it's not as if I'd return to loads of messages to deal with!). |
