To answer the op, I think there’s truth in that men tend to be friends with women that they find attractive. The sex doesn’t get in the way but I think feelings do. |

I think... it depends on how the relationship starts.
If there are clear boundaries from the beginning and you enjoy each other's company and thoughts, then yes.
If things get a little murkier, then... well most possibly not.
I think if a woman you're dating ever asks you that question you're probably fucked.  |

If you just want to have sex with someone that doesn’t get in the way of friendship. If you secretly wish they were your partner, I think that gets in the way. |

Yes, I think so. Actually, I know it's very possible - I have two male friends I've known since my first bright eyed, bushy day in halls. We've never entertained the thought of more, never wanted more. I love them to bits.
Maybe I'm a bit naive but I don't think my male friends on here or elsewhere want "more" from me. I'm happy with the friendship as is. |

I m friend with all my lovers as its a prerequisite for me. I also have male friends I've never fucked but yes sex always rewards is had at some point. You can get through that with good communication. |

I have have ladies who are real friends. Often they were the wives of male friends who are, as a consequence, off limits for sex but there is a mutual liking there. I also have ex-lovers who are, after very many years, still friends, so it is possible. |

I would say yes, and I have female friends (often through work).
I would also say that a lot of men like to try it on with anything that moves, which can complicate matters. If nothing more than being annoying. |
