I look my insecurities in the face and then say “fuck it, life is too short” and go ahead anyway.
Do that for long enough and you will realise that your insecurities no longer have any power over you. |

The sooner you realise EVERYONE has insecurities, this site not excluded, you'll feel more control over them. Everyone is dealing with an insecurity or two, which are invisible to the rest of us. It's all about this expectation and understanding, in order to comfortable with your own. I fine this thought helps me tremendously. |

Self reflection works for me
I try figure out what I’m insecure about then it’s a case of addressing:
- where is this come from?
- what can I do to improve/ stop me feeling this way
- is it something within my control?
Hope this helps OP |

The problem is, for some people with insecurities it's internal and only they themselves have that view of themselves.
Others are reminded and have it enforced from the outside, sometimes very often and nastily by others. That shit is extremely difficult to just pack away and get over no matter how hard you will it and remind yourself other people are insecure of themselves. |

Which is why I said it does help. Not eradicates. It's all subjective on what the insecurity is, internal or external. If external, then maybe being on a site like this where people can get hostile very quickly, isn't the best place to be |

Everyone has opinions, but everyone is wrong, except you. That's how you do it

Unfortunately they often ruin things for me. I've learnt to just run with them and make the most of the times when I feel better about myself. Also not giving myself time to think to much to let the insecurities in usually helps too. It's not easy - you just have to find what makes you feel the best in yourself |
