Southend, Essex

Every step you take by the police, a song commonly used at weddings as the go to love song is actualy a song about a stalker.

But notable for me recentlyI having been listening to a lot of trance. Plummet - damaged a US Trance group whos single went platinum in the UK reaching number 6. Before being re releaseed in 2005.

The singer is expressing her feelings and vulnerabilities in a hypothetical monologue to her abuser.

She expresses her emotions of being damaged and alone, longing for love and connection, even if the above will hurt in the long run.

She acknowledges that she can't go back to the way things were, but must continue moving forward. Sadly in 2015 Plumb was unable to move forward and sadly died.

What songs do you know have suprising back stories or meanings

I saw a trump rally where the band covered Bowie's Station to Station. Fuck knows what they think it's about.I don't think the GOP are very bright.

I loved it when the bbc is perfect day by Lou reed to advertise itself. A song about heroin addiction just about sums them up.
