Rangers got off to a good start

Couldn't have went any better!

Derby

I was reasonably excited until it dawned on me yesterday at Pride Park just how far Derby are from a half decent side.

Shame tbh, only a couple of seasons ago you was a game away from premier league football

Quite surprising with the European joy at the end of last.

Exactly. FL brought a fantastic buzz to the club but as a manager he was so naive, I wish we’d never had him. Went into the game against villa with the striker that got them there on the bench. How to absolutely kill the confidence of the player and the club.

I was there too, but understand how it feels on both sides, winning/loosing.

Think the change in rules time wasting, dissent and kicking ball away leading to more yellow and red cards will have impact until players and managers get used to them. And possibly longer periods of added on time.

Let’s hope it does impact. To many players think they are above the rules.

Agreed and if they get red cards for it, they will learn to change. Just need refs to be consistent.

Yeah, that was nice.

But no signings, quarrels in management behind the scenes, same old tactics.

Gonna get steam rolled unless we get in a few quality players with the rice money.

I'm not a Moyes hater (like most fans) but it's his last season for sure. I think we're looking to build for a future, and Moyes is pretty stuck in his way.

Briefly excited then we lost the opener 1-2 at home. Signs of things to come, and my excitement waned

They’ll be great, just hope Europe doesn’t mess-up what Eddie Howe is building (looking at Burnley / Stoke / West Ham as examples)

(As a slightly jealous Liverpool fan ????)

Very true that. It’s my concern with the Villa this season.

There’s a lot of clubs/fans up and down the country that would be ecstatic if they could win at least one trophy or promotion this season, me included

I'm a Chelsea fan but I have no idea what they will be like this season. They seem to have sold a lot of our English players and brought in some more foreign one who I know nothing about. So no clue
