"Yes.
Also a good dose of pre blocking works a treat.
You should try it, OP. It’s liberating." basically block someone before they even look at your profile? Lol |

"Racist or having caused me a personal offence, perhaps.
However, I cannot think of a more trivial and fatuous reason to block someone simply because they looked at my profile."
I don't really bother checking every single person who has looked at me in detail.
If I happen to click on that box and something immediately jumps out then I may look and block.
Same as I sometimes block from forum posts/comments because I know they are not someone I'd connect with or meet.
Saves everyone time then.

Not for looking but we have blocked people for constantly winking us. Just recently a couple winked us, we responded with a nice message which was read and then deleted. This happened four times more after which we just blocked. |

Don't people have to wait a month before they can wink you again? |

This… some of the private notes I’ve made have been epic… I didn’t realise what a cutting sarcastic man I can be! |

No the only people I block are if they've been unkind, crude or if they can'ttake no for an answer. I don't block people for just simply looking at my profile. Mine is hidden at the minute anyway. |

I don't block people for looking at my profile.
I do block people I have never directly communicated with if something they've said draws my attention to the fact that we're absolutely incompatible and I'd rather never hear from them. |

I will often do this when I don’t like someone’s status updates referring for example to d***s, activities I have no interest to participate in, constant complaining about the website, rude updates, with pictures I don’t want to look at, many reasons and in my opinion, all valid, at least for me. This is just to not appear in their searches as we will never clearly be compatible. When you look at this from that perspective, it’s not always a bad thing.

"I don't do that myself but some do it to me. Que sera sera! "
That's suggests you know they've blocked you ...I have no idea if I've been blocked by anyone |

Not so much that I don't like the look of them, but yes, if I don't like what they've written ie they're derogatory about people in their statuses or profile text.
It's more on my single profile though tbh .

I go to look at their profile for the first time ever and get the "Your Blocked" message. Some folks read the Fora I guess and take exception. Ce la vie! |

Can someone tell me how a woman from a M/F couple profile is able to message me after I filtered couples from messaging me?
Does the filtering messages aactually work on here? |

Only blocked one profile in the whole time we have been here due to not liking their profile. The blocking was because they had what we felt was a very distasteful write up which was borderline abusive and aggressive in how they would treat females on meets and was extremely crude. Just our opinion at the time. |

Have ypu messaged them previously... if so the filters are moot and don't work.

I have.
Usually when it's obvious that they're not actually interested in me and are just being nosey, having clicked on a veri I've left on someone else's profile.
We all know it happens. But viewing my profile multiple times won't, in all liklihood, boost your chances with anyone else. |

I see no need to block anyone and I'm a profile perv really and just love reading nice lengthy interesting profiles. No need to feel offended if I'm looking hehe,I'm not the type to stalk people I'm too lazy lol. Tbh I enjoy the profiles that have a story to tell.
But that's just me |

No. I very rarely check to see how many views I’ve had, let alone check them out.
Messages are a different thing. Blocked plenty on the back of those.
That’s a whole different thread though! |

I am ok with people looking as how would they know about me otherwise, i am ok with winks as i feel it is a way of starting an interaction, i have set filters for inbox so not many unwanted messages when i do get any, mainly block button for me is only used if and when a user goes too far |

I won’t stop someone the enjoyment of masturbating over my awesome pics even if I would never have any interest in meeting them. (Which is 95% of people )
My pics are freely visible so people can knock themselves out over them
I only block people if they block me or the messages are not going anywhere / pointless
