Always found that when you help or go out of the way for people the person your helping turns on you once they get what they want. No point ranting walk away and let them do it for themselves its the same result. |

My boss fucks me over all the time too. And I dont mean in a good way.
Do like Wishy says. But its hard to down tools and walk or stick to your contract. I did an hour extra for nowt today, not even a ruddy thank you. |

Feel abit like that with work myself st the moment, been rostered every weekend for six weeks not a happy bunny, asked for the 14th off as its our daughters 18th got told cant, need you here. So now I go in, do my job snd go home. |

You do it because it is who you are.... You won't stop doing it.... And at the end of the day, despite the shit that gets thrown at you, you will have the personal satisfaction of having done the best possible job....
That said.... Draw your own line in the sand... And in the interim... Rant away.... Xxx |

Funny enough I got turned over for a promotion 8 years ago for the job I had been doing for 6 months. A less experienced girl who's best mate was on the panel got the job!! So I decided that's it, I'm going to be pleasant if spoken but wanted no part of the social chatting just do my job and go home whilst I look for another job. After a few weeks my supervisor called me in to talk to me about my attitude. I asked if anyone had complained about me being rude which they hadn't and was there a problem with my work - again no. So I had an attitude because I wasn't joining in social banter!
Thankfully I found another job and walked into the best job I've ever had a week or so later. |

doing the best I can plus more others dont even do what there supposed to but I'm getting the shit day in day out..  |

Well I wish you the best of luck and hope you find a good job, I'm glad what happened happened as at the end of the day I benefited from the whole experience. I don't mind missing out to a better candidate, I object to jobs for the boys kind of mentality.
It's not easy at the time though, so keep your chin up and good luck x |
