Are you a slow juicer?

Not that you filthy perverts!

I’ve just discovered - clearly very late to the game, cold press masticating, and this bit of kit from Amazon looks like something about the future , but the seven stage slow process is going to give me a months worth of vitamins and nutrients in a small shot glass.

And then a month to clean the damn thing.

Anyone else into this kink ?

I have a KitchenAid with juicing attachment and once you get hold on the thing, it’s surprisingly easy to clean and reassemble.

I’m very much into this kink.

I’m a carton of the shelf guy. Didn’t even know this was a thing.

Is the next leap from a smoothie?

All this modern fandangled stuff why not just eat the fruit that was at least it’s not concentrated fruit sugars which go straight into your body. If you eat the fruit you body burns some of the sugars digesting it and you don’t get hit with them all.

But I could be missing the whole point as I am no expert or nutritionist.

I’ll give you a clue , 5th generation cold press, 7 stage mastication, testosterone fuelled 240 w power house , but plays so gentle at just 50-70rpm and the original patent technology of the flap gate feeding tube.

The idea is you get all the vitamins and nutrients, well, actually, 10 to 20 times the amount, so youre powering your Immunity, mental focus, and physical energy , without the associated calories of eating all that fruit and veg. Based on the 80,20 rule, 80% veg 20% fruit so very low in sugar.

I just made something that’s gonna make me go all night and into next week and it’s just 29 calories.

The point is you wouldn’t be possibly able to eat two bunches of raw celery in one go for expected health benefits but you’d be easily be fine with drinking 20oz of juice in one go.

Does the body store a month's worth of vitamins and nutrients and aren't the down sides to overloading on them?

Most goes down your chin and ends up on the sheets anyway, only a small amount gets consumed.

I think the science is you meant to drink small amounts in shot glasses like at the posh detoxes and retreats, not half pint glasses of it

Do it. I only use green stuff with low carbohydrate content.

You only need a day's worth of nutrients at a time though.

You'll piss out the other 29 day's worth.

Plus you're not getting the fiber you need which can lead to a number of health problems.

Just eat your fruit and veg.

Or turn the juice into alcohol

No vitamins can live for months in fat , that’s why people can live on junk for years & seem to function and be relatively healthy.

I get plenty of fibre.

The juice is just supercharging the already super fit healthy specimen. It’s only 9:30 Sunday and I’ve already completed most of Mondays work !

Water soluble ones can't, you pee them out. Fat soluble vitamins are in eggs, liver, fatty fish.

This sounds really nice , cucumbers are everywhere here too. I do ginger lemon and honey tea for fevers but never tried juicing it

Any creative uses for pulp ? I’m using carrot pulp in my vegetable stock - saves grating the stuff!

The stubborn little buggers find a way of staying when they’re really needed, otherwise half the population of the uk would drop dead the diets and shit they eat
