I am falling out of love with football. I used to be there week in week out. My mate asked me a question last week, what would you rather a football match or a gig? I said gig without hesitation.
Think it’s all the money and trappings that go with it, you get clubs at the top spending £10 billion a year on wages, then reams at the bottom like Bury and Southend etc struggling to make ends meet.
The whole thing seems corrupt at the moment. You have the biggest club in the country owning almost a £1 billion, the owners trying to sell it for £6 billion, so any potential buyer has to pay £7 billion. All this for a cub which until it was bought by the Americans 15 years ago. Had not been in any debt for 70 plus years had money in the bank. One of the best teams in Europe. How was it allowed to happen?
Just makes me think the whole thing is corrupt.
FFP which is another load of bull. Clubs break this and get all sorts of punishments, which on appeal get reduced to a fine. Yes for a considerable amount, but this does not filter down to lower leagues it goes into prize funds to keep the fat cats happy.
All just a load of bollox if you ask me.
Don’t even get me started on the payers in the modern age. |

My team Man Utd playing at 3.00 pm today against Nottingham Forest.I think we will win and play well because Mason Mount been injured should be a blessing in disguise as as last season our 3 man midfield off Casemiro, Erickson , Fernandes was effective and I think these 3 or possibly McTominay in place of Erickson is a better balance than Mount been in there |

Gutted by that result. We were pinned in during the first half but really did a lot better in the second half so those 2 late goals are a real punch to the gut. My Sunday is ruined |

I don’t know if havertz is the long term answer at 8… but you can see defensively he is trying!
That Jesus dragback to put the united player on his arse for the 3rd was pure filth!
Also.. Ten Haag… he is a very salty manager isn’t he!!! |

We finished the match with Evans and Maguire in defence. We were pretty hamstrung in that last half an hour |

Have to say, it's pretty unbelievable that a club like Utd have got into that position. Evans was a decent enough player...but not the signing of a top level club. |

He is a bit lol. I thought if their goal was allowed we'd have hit them with everything and equalised anyway. We had the time (and lo it's what we did anyway).
I think we have the best manager for the job tbh. It's prob Guardiola's last year and he's personally made them such an easy team to manage, but if Arteta can work in a reliable Havertz and keep everyone happy he'll become an all time great I think. It's proper football. pt |
